Civil Engineering offers the wide spectrum of construction and infrastructure the major emphasis is on the all around development. The curriculum lays equal emphasis on all major fields of Civil Engineering – Engineering Graphics, Design of Concrete Structure, and Geotechnical Engineering.

Civil Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, construction and maintenance of innumerable projects in the field such as building construction, road construction, bridge and dam construction, water supply and sewage systems etc.

Civil Engineer normally works in private industry. The civil engineers working in industry are often responsible for construction planning, preparation and supervision. Planning task involves drawing work, cost calculation site matters. In the actual construction stage the civil engineer functions as a site supervisor. Additional responsibilities include organizing the deployment of resources.
